Boring Internship? Here’s How to Make the Most of It!
Important as internships are–and I’d wager that they’re crucial. It’s how ambitious young people make contacts, understand first hand what is acceptable in the office (not to mention, their careers)…but let’s be honest. Internships are important and I always encourage my clients to take them…but that doesn’t mean that all internships are interesting. And, Dear Reader, before you start huffing and puffing, “It’s an opportunity, Carlota, since when does it have to be interesting?” Simma down, Dear Reader, because while you’re right, it doesn’t make it any easier to wake up in the morning and be bored.

Because while yes, I had some wonderful internships, trust that I had some internships wherein the only wonderful part was when it was over.
Before you give me that look, yes having an internship I hated was useful, since it was in a field that previously I had been planning on making a career in. That internships allowed me to both get real life experience, and not waste further time.
