Odds n’ ends
I’ve been bad about blogging recently, I know, but there’s been so much fun, real life stuff going on. However, I apologize. Anyways, you people (snort) know that if you want me, you can always email me (carlotazee@gmail.com), and like Batman, I’ll be the organized nag resource you need. Or something.
Anyhoo, just this morning, after rising at the deliciously late hour of 4:45 am ( who knew that was even a thing?), I was lucky enough to be interviewed by the lovely (translation: she didn’t interrupt my ranting…oh I’m just being honest, don’t give me that look. #eyeroll) Marie Grace Berg on her podcast, “Today’s Leading Woman.” Such a genuine, enthusiastic sweetheart! We discussed a ton of stuff, including how women can start their own small businesses, why being stubborn is a hawt look for any entrepreneurial-minded woman and frankly that owning a small business isn’t for everyone. The interview should be up in about 3 weeks.
Also, yesterday, my fearless co-host, Marie Segares and I did a live version of our May 2015 No Frills Small Business podcast from Freelancers Union hq in lower Manhattan, and–who’da thunk it?–ended up with a great, welcoming and FUN audience of fellow freelancers, entrepreneurs, and even two lovely Canadians who joined us and helped make a fun podcast! We really didn’t know what to expect, so it was a lovely surprise to suddenly have a packed room of people contributing. I’ll share the podcast ASAP. UPDATE: Here’s the edited podcast!
