-saw “the master” last night, woke up still thinking of it–also trying to understand how a small amount of popcorn can seriously cost $5 in US currency…that price should only make sense if this was the Weimar Republic, or Zimbabwe. How could an adult write those prices out and not giggle?
-the master, looking for something larger, ppl don’t join cults, they want to lead lives larger than just watching TV, have experiences larger than “must see TV” and etc…and eventually they end up worshiping monkeys, stockpiling guns and drinking kool-aid in small towns in Texas or Montana. The introductory orgies probably don’t hurt either. fascinated by cults, some of you are now seeing this blog in a whole new light, and saying, “…oh, now I get it…” also, true story, when I was in 9th grade, my high school principal described me to my parents as “seeking a country to rule.”
