Experience is an excellent if painful teacher. As a coach, I have no problem advising clients to learn from my (copious) mistakes. This holds especially true for when those clients are young women, since I remember what it was like to be young in a world that constantly made me feel like an idiot simply because I was 23. (Oy.) Anyhoo, all of that to say, I’m one of the women quoted in this Verily Magazine article, and if my mistakes help you, Dear Reader, than I’ll be glad. (Oh you’ll make mistakes, don’t worry, but hopefully, you’ll make smarter mistakes.)
